Welcome to Linguistics at Macquarie, one of the largest and most diverse Linguistics Departments in Australia, and very possibly internationally. The Department supports undergraduate, postgraduate coursework and postgraduate research degrees students, both domestically, internationally and by distance. Four research centres of international standing and several clinical groups operate collaboratively to foster a dynamic, inter-disciplinary teaching and research environment.

The Hearing Co-operative Research Centre
Macquarie University is one of five core parties involved in a new DEST-funded Co-operative Research Centre addressing the issue of hearing health in Australia.
