Speech Hearing and Language Research Centre

The Speech Hearing and Language Research Centre is located within the Department of Linguistics in the Division of Linguistics and Psychology at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. The centre consists of a number of research groups in the fields of Speech Research, Audiology, Speech and Language Pathology, Psycholinguistics, Computational Linguistics, Speech and Language Technology and Cognitive Science. The centre fosters both discipline-specific basic, clinical and applied research as well as collaborative research between the research groups and with other research centres. The centre also contains active Audiology and Speech and Language Pathology clinics. The centre is one of the oldest research centres at Macquarie University and has a long and successful research history, attracting significant competitive research funding and industrial contracts and consultancies.
